About the role
- Lead and execute all finance and accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and key performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models
- Establish and maintain internal controls and processes for accuracy and efficiency
- Manage banking relationships, covenant compliance, and investor/lender reporting
- Provide financial insight and decision support to the CEO and leadership team
- Build and mentor a high-performing, nimble finance/accounting team
- Lead audit and tax preparation activities
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a hands-on or small/mid-size company environment
- Comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels
- Experience in private equity or high-growth companies a plus
- Strong financial modeling, systems, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to build scalable processes and drive financial discipline
