About the role
- Define and evolve the company-wide QA automation strategy with a focus on Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable frameworks that support UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple product lines
- Partner with QA leadership to define and evangelize QA automation best practices across teams
- Lead the integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines and influence release engineering practices
- Mentor Senior SDETs and QA Engineers, helping grow the next generation of automation leaders
- Contribute to long-term quality roadmap that reduces risk, increases coverage, and accelerates release velocity
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
- Deep expertise with Playwright (preferred) and strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proven track record of designing automation frameworks that scale across multiple teams and product areas
- Strong experience integrating automation into complex CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of observability, production quality metrics, and risk-based testing strategies
- Solid understanding of testing strategies (unit, integration, API, E2E) and their role in SDLC
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data validation for backend testing
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of AWS services and/or Salesforce (bonus)
- Familiarity with Java (bonus)
