About the role

  • Work on a cross-functional, solution-driven development team
  • Implement new products and integrations in the League platform
  • Simplify the way solutions are delivered to clients
  • Lead technical design discussions and inform implementation priority
  • Perform code reviews, fix bugs, create automated tests, and monitor performance
  • Mentor multiple engineers and lift the skills of others on the team
  • Help align technical strategy with business goals
  • Comply with Information Security Policies and League’s secure coding practices

Requirements

  • Working primarily in Golang and MongoDB
  • Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant web services
  • Ability to write high-quality, testable code and understand tradeoffs between expediency and maintainability
  • Understanding of how the web works and what a good API looks like
  • Eagerness and ability to respond when systems break and fix issues
  • Experience mentoring engineers and lifting the skills of others
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and inform implementation priority
