Backend Engineer

• As a Senior Backend Engineer on our Identity Engineering team, you'll design, develop and scale critical identity services and middleware that power League's platform.
• You will lead complex projects from discovery to delivery, working primarily with Go, Node.js, MongoDB, Auth0, Github & GCP.
• You will work as part of a small team to deliver features on our roadmap and contribute to building our developer program and tools.
• You’ll be responsible for large pieces of work, as well as setting best practices and mentoring other members of the team with openness and empathy.
• To thrive in this role, you are someone who works well in teams and enjoys collaborating.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, proactively identifying root causes.
• Actively participate in technical design and planning discussions, contributing to system design and documentation (including ADRs).
• Uphold code quality standards through code reviews, bug fixes, automated tests, and performance monitoring.
• Participate in our On-Call rotation.

Frontend Engineer

• Architectural Leadership: Take ownership of technical design and architectural decisions for major frontend features and systems.
• Feature Development: Lead the development of new, scalable features from inception to launch, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices
• Quality & Standards: Uphold and improve our high standards for code quality and software reliability through rigorous code reviews, building comprehensive automated test suites (unit, integration, and E2E), and monitoring application performance

Brand Designer

• Establishing and maintaining the company’s brand system and tone of voice, including logo, typography, colour palettes, iconography, illustration, photography, video guidelines
• Develop and document scalable design systems that ensure consistency across platforms and channels
• Partner with teams as creative partners across the company to design on-brand assets for campaigns, social media, email, presentations, and events
• Brainstorm and design visual directions for campaigns or events and provide creative solutions to challenges
• Manage and collaborate with photographers, illustrators, and printers
• Design and execute brand assets, both print and digital, including social media and email assets, presentations, and event collaterals
• Prepare final production files for print and digital use with attention to detail and quality standards
