About the role

  • Lead, build, and inspire a partnerships team that meets and exceeds growth targets across multiple verticals.
  • Develop and execute Leafwell’s partnership strategy with a primary focus on our core revenue engine: scalable, high-ROI dispensary partnerships.
  • Operate as a player–coach: carry an individual quota, drive key deals, and develop your team to do the same.
  • Own revenue outcomes from partnerships and create a repeatable, scalable model across markets.
  • Oversee event partnerships and field activations, ensuring excellent execution and measurable ROI from our ground game.
  • Build strategic referral networks with organizations that can drive patient acquisition and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align initiatives and amplify results.
  • Track and optimize performance metrics, using data to improve efficiency, conversion, retention, and partner success.
  • Create the systems and processes (playbooks, ICP criteria, onboarding flows, CRM discipline, activation frameworks) required to scale with efficiency.
  • Build both a hunter and farmer motion, balancing outbound partner acquisition with proactive partner success and renewal growth.
  • Foster a clarity-first, solutions-oriented culture that reduces complexity and drives execution.
  • Represent Leafwell externally, building trust and credibility with industry partners, associations, and prospective collaborators.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or revenue leadership, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or another regulated industry.
  • Proven success building, scaling, and optimizing partnership-led revenue models.
  • A strong operator who can lead strategy while rolling up their sleeves to close deals.
  • Deep experience forming strategic alliances, channel partnerships, and B2B2C programs.
  • Understanding of dispensary workflows, economics, and operational realities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with event-based or field partnership programs is a plus.
  • A bias toward action, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Mission-driven mindset with a passion for transforming healthcare through cannabis.
