About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assisting members with loan origination, opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services and resolving problems.
  • Being a Financial Champion and advising applicable products for each member.
  • Provides prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  • Works directly with the underwriting department to step our members through the lending process.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for all credit union products that can best fit the member’s needs.
  • Accurately maintain member account information.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • A two-year college degree or applicable specialized training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Must maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers
  • Must have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
