About the role

  • Lead and oversee complex construction projects for the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO).
  • Provide strategic direction, manage project teams, and ensure successful project delivery through effective planning, risk management, quality control, and client engagement.
  • Mentor staff, support business development, and foster strong client relationships.
  • Act as an ambassador for LEA, promoting our expertise and services to current and potential clients.
  • Drive day-to-day business development activities within your sector to meet growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, including at least 5 years managing MTO projects.
  • Proven experience successfully leading MTO High complexity construction projects.
  • Strong experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills, serving as an effective ambassador for the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, quality management processes, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.
