About the role
- Lead and oversee complex construction projects for the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO).
- Provide strategic direction, manage project teams, and ensure successful project delivery through effective planning, risk management, quality control, and client engagement.
- Mentor staff, support business development, and foster strong client relationships.
- Act as an ambassador for LEA, promoting our expertise and services to current and potential clients.
- Drive day-to-day business development activities within your sector to meet growth targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, including at least 5 years managing MTO projects.
- Proven experience successfully leading MTO High complexity construction projects.
- Strong experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills, serving as an effective ambassador for the organization.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, quality management processes, and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.
