About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reconcile monthly the accounting accounts under your responsibility (e.g., banks, accounts payable and receivable, prepaid expenses, etc.) by comparing the balances recorded in the accounting records with the respective external/non-accounting reports;
  • Post and integrate accounting entries and provisions into the SAP system;
  • Analyze and monitor financial accounting accounts (banks, bank clearing/transitory accounts, investments, etc.);
  • Review balance sheet and income statement accounts and send them to client/internal areas, identifying and correcting any discrepancies;
  • Record allocation of prepaid expenses (transport allowance, meal vouchers, insurance, etc.);
  • Ensure the verification process for fixed asset acquisitions, project capitalization and fixed asset invoices;
  • Ensure correct tax classification related to fixed assets;
  • Reconcile depreciation and fixed assets between SAP modules;
  • Actively participate in the classification and closing of CAPEX projects;
  • Monitor asset transfers and loan-for-use (commodatum) agreements;
  • Support external and internal audits by providing reports and information/documents/reconciliations that meet the auditors' requests.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Desired experience: More than 1 year of accounting experience in companies within the same or similar segment, and knowledge of ERP systems—preferably SAP—plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
