About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead analyses and structure comprehensive tax recommendations, covering direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL) and indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS/ST, IPI, PIS and COFINS) as well as the new Tax Reform framework (CBS, IBS and IS)
  • Assess tax impacts on transactions, contracts, supply chain and new projects, presenting comparative scenarios and clear recommendations for decision-making
  • Develop tax planning structures with an integrated view of the current model and the future regime (Tax Reform)
  • Perform in-depth legal/legislative analyses, linking legal interpretation to practical business application
  • Build tax simulations and scenario models, considering impacts on margins, costs, pricing and the value chain
  • Identify tax opportunities and risks and propose structured actions to capture value or mitigate exposure
  • Evaluate and implement impacts of the Tax Reform, including review of operational structures, processes and business models
  • Participate in projects to adapt processes, systems and fiscal documents to new legislation
  • Prepare technical and executive materials with clarity, conciseness and decision-oriented recommendations
  • Interface with internal areas and external advisors, critically validating assumptions and conclusions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or Accounting
  • Postgraduate degree in Tax Law, Tax Management or related fields
  • Solid experience in tax planning
  • Experience with structured analyses and technical recommendations for decision-making
  • Experience assessing tax impacts on operations and projects
  • Involvement with studies or projects related to the Tax Reform is a relevant differential
  • Strong knowledge of indirect taxes: ICMS, IPI, PIS and COFINS
  • Knowledge of the Tax Reform (CBS, IBS, non-cumulativity, transition rules and operational impacts)
  • Tax planning and scenario modeling
  • Pricing formation and tax impact across the value chain
  • Interpretation and practical application of tax legislation
  • Governance, compliance and tax risk management
  • Advanced Excel for analyses and simulations.
