About the role
- As an Application Support Analyst you will design application systems in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Evaluate and modernize the Veterans Benefits Management System
- Develop skills in technology development, testing and network administration
- Gain experience in federal contracting
- Expand technologies to create a modernized platform for veterans
- Help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change
- Be part of an on-call rotation and respond to calls on a 24/7 basis
Requirements
- High School or GED and 3 years' experience (AAT)
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have lived in the US for the last 3 consecutive years (36 months)
- Ability to obtain a lower to moderate level Clearance
- 1+ years of experience with SQL
- 1+ years of experience with Grafana
- 1+ years of experience with relational database systems and concepts
- 1+ years of experience with data and process analysis
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of software development
- Ability to grasp concepts and flow of cross platform data
- Ability to communicate application information and solutions to clients
- Ability to work efficiently in cross team situations as well as independently
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
