About the role
- Act as liaison between clients and vendors, managing investment versus return on initiatives.
- Plan and deliver events of various sizes, ensuring high-quality client service and strong negotiation outcomes.
- Research, negotiate and contract third-party services for events.
- Operate the company’s main events and manage key client services (accommodation, transfers, rooming lists, food & beverage, and financial closing).
- Financial responsibilities: document control, cash management, issuance of payment requests and reporting.
- Provide guidance and supervision to teams.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals.
- Plan activities and monitor results.
- Strong skills in client and partner relations, interacting and negotiating contract finalization.
- Quickly and accurately identify client needs and develop corresponding projects and proposals.
- Maintain deep knowledge of tourism industry products to enhance client service and strengthen negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Public Relations or Marketing.
- Postgraduate specialization or MBA (desirable).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years coordinating events and international travel.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent English required. Additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with diverse cultures and international business practices.
- Advanced skills in international travel logistics.
- Experience negotiating with and managing suppliers and contracts across multiple countries.
- Ability to manage and resolve crises that may occur during international events.
- Knowledge of event management platforms and relevant technologies for communication and organizing remote teams.
