About the role
- Interface management between business units in the area of self-service analytics and IT, acting as the central point of contact for business users
- Ensuring efficient development, testing and deployment of data-driven applications and reports based on banking domain and technical expertise
- Designing, implementing and optimizing complex ETL processes and data models using modern platforms (e.g., Databricks) with a focus on quality, performance and stability
- Responsibility for the optimal use of a data-lakehouse model, taking regulatory and supervisory requirements into account
- Developing, automating and optimizing data-driven solutions with Databricks, Python and GitHub, as well as designing cloud-native architectures and integrating new tools
- Preparing clear data solutions to support business units in the efficient, secure and autonomous use of data for decision-making
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Physics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the banking sector, ideally in corporate banking, including solid experience in digitization programs, digital sales and marketing and the associated technologies
- Strong knowledge of modern data management and analytics technologies, in particular Databricks, ETL processes, Python, PySpark, Pylint, SQL and DAX, as well as experience in data modeling, automated development and deployment processes, and the application of data-driven algorithms and machine learning
- Practical experience in managing data-driven projects under demanding conditions and proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with very good German and English language skills, experience in enablement and training (workshops, training sessions, consulting), and the ability to explain even complex topics clearly
- High degree of initiative, proactive working style and drive to shape processes, with a focus on process optimization, achieving goals and effective teamwork
