About the role

  • Define and deliver strategy and vision to drive efficiency, automation, and adoption across the document lifecycle.
  • Make it faster and easier for firms and clients to ingest, organize, create, and complete documents, integrating seamlessly with external document management tools.
  • Automate categorization, creation, and generation of documents and templates to eliminate manual work and increase usability of core workflows such as intake forms, document editing, and eSignature.
  • Operate as a leader within our empowered team model, working in close collaboration with a UX Designer and Tech Lead in a trio partnership.
  • Lead collaborative discovery with design and engineering partners to deeply understand document pain points, co-owning problem identification, solution shaping, and outcome delivery.
  • Lead the strategy and vision for initiatives, defining business cases and ROI of automating routine processes.
  • Partner with AI infrastructure team to align roadmaps and bring AI-powered solutions to market.
  • Drive continuous problem-solving through data analysis, user feedback, and outcome measurement; establish measurement frameworks and dashboards with Product Operations, Data Intelligence, and Analytics.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment around outcomes and collaborate with Product Marketing, GTM, and Customer Success to define commercialization strategies and drive adoption.
  • Mentor junior product managers and influence the 8am product vision and strategy across the organization.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS environments, with track record of taking complex products to market, including document management, document automation & AI initiatives, in high-growth, scaling organizations.
  • Strong experience in customer discovery methodologies, with demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Significant hands-on experience in discovering and delivering technology products collaboratively with UX designers and engineers.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives without formal authority, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify, create, and deliver growth initiatives in ambiguous environments.
  • Business acumen with the ability to build business cases and prioritize customer needs within a business context.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills - able to develop clear, testable hypotheses and communicate complex strategies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and modern product tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
  • Preferred: Experience in fintech or professional services industries.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) integration in product development processes.
  • Preferred: Based in Austin, Texas.
