About the role
- Partner with Product to identify and lead the growth roadmap and experimentation backlog, identifying opportunities across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Translate growth strategies and hypotheses into experiments, product improvements, and scalable experiences.
- Design experiences such as onboarding flows, feature discovery, in-product education, and expansion or upgrade paths.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape and run experiments, including A/B tests and iterative product improvements.
- Use behavioral data, usability testing, customer feedback and funnel analysis to inform and validate design decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
- Define success metrics and evaluate the impact of shipped work.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leaders, and Growth stakeholders to shape initiatives and align on priorities.
- Contribute design perspective and user insight to product strategy and roadmap discussions.
- Help teams navigate tradeoffs between experimentation, technical constraints, and long-term product quality.
- Produce clear user flows, prototypes, and polished UI across the design lifecycle.
- Ensure growth optimizations maintain clarity, trust, and usability for professional users while preserving long-term product quality.
- Identify repeatable growth patterns and contribute them to the design system helping ensure consistent and scalable experiences across the platform.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex product problems and measurable impact.
- Experience designing B2B SaaS products, ideally within fintech or other complex platforms.
- Strong understanding of product-led growth and product funnels, including onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion.
- Experience working in experimentation-driven environments, including A/B testing and hypothesis-driven product development.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to connect user needs, product strategy, and business outcomes.
- Ability to form and communicate clear design opinions, influence cross-functional partners, and collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering leaders.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, delivering high-quality design using modern product design tools (Figma).
