About the role

  • Take the creative reins for a new brand: shape story and set creative vision to ensure market success.
  • Define and execute cohesive creative strategy across campaigns and touchpoints.
  • Champion brand stewardship and ensure consistent application across marketing, communications, social, video, content, events, and product experiences.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire an in-house creative team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives.
  • Define compelling brand narrative and creative vision integrated across channels and campaigns.
  • Oversee creation and execution of high-impact brand campaigns across all channels.
  • Explore new formats, content, and technologies to engage audiences and build brand equity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Corporate Communications, People, and others.
  • Build and manage relationships with external creative agencies for campaigns and asset development.

Requirements

  • Transformative leader: 10+ years of experience in creative direction, with a track record of leading, inspiring, and developing high-performing creative teams.
  • Master of your craft: Broad portfolio demonstrating mastery of storytelling, design, and conceptual thinking; deep experience directing and producing award-winning brand campaigns and digital experiences with in-house and agency talent.
  • Master of mediums: Expertise in visual design, copywriting, video production, content, and digital media; advanced skill in at least one creative discipline.
  • Strategic mindset: Deep understanding of brand strategy with proven success delivering market-leading creative work that drives results.
  • Agency collaboration: Experience managing and collaborating with external agencies to deliver on-brand campaigns, communications, events, and sponsorships.
  • Passionate about process: Ability to create efficient creative processes and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborative spirit: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; ability to build credibility with stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Bonus - Industry knowledge: Experience or strong understanding of B2B SaaS, LegalTech, or payments landscape.
  • Bonus - Broad experience: Experience working both in agency and client-side roles is a plus.
  • Bonus - Location preference: Austin, TX preferred (open to remote candidates).
