About the role
- Provide system solutions that span the globe, enabling the production and broadcast of media content at a high-quality level, leading to business growth, profitability and customer success
- Factory configuration and troubleshooting of Lawo systems (Audio, Video and Network) fulfilling customer workflow and system standards
- Maintain and support inventory for the Factory Project Commissioning area
- Customer project commissioning and troubleshooting, onsite or remote when required for Audio/Video systems
- Work closely with other Lawo teams, inside and outside of the professional services group
- Documentation (Lawo internal, and for the customer if needed)
Requirements
- Education in broadcast, audio/video or a related field
- Solid Network/IT knowledge including multicast/unicast network services and broadcast standards such as SMPTE 2110, NDI etc.
- Linux server expertise as well as knowledge of containerized microservers and Docker
- Experience in broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, workflows and IP-Systems
- Desire to deliver service excellence
- Structured way of working and logical approach to problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an engaging and professional way of interacting with colleagues and customers
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, agile environment
- English and German language is a must, other languages are an asset.
