About the role

  • Lead projects end-to-end with autonomy and real impact
  • Write production code and influence architectural decisions
  • Mentor and guide other engineers
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to scope features
  • Pair on bugs, review PRs, and provide feedback
  • Build scalable backend services and dashboards
  • Deploy to production and monitor performance
  • Drive technical initiatives from design to delivery
  • Tackle performance and scalability challenges
  • Collaborate across teams to ship fast and iterate quickly

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • At least 2 years in a lead or senior-level role
  • Strong full-stack skills (flexible on languages/frameworks)
  • Deep understanding of software design, performance optimization, and testing
  • Comfortable with frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Solid database skills (SQL and familiarity with non-relational systems)
  • Experience with React, React Native, TypeScript, PHP (Laravel), Node.js
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Redshift
  • Familiarity with Datadog and Sentry
  • Great communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Collaborative, humble approach; values the team
  • Bonus: experience in marketplaces, SaaS platforms, or remote teams
