About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Invoice processing across UK and US entities
- Assisting with month-end close, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies
- Supporting payroll processing and related journal entries (UK and US)
- Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance filings
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting expense management processes (Payhawk)
- Covering and responding to Finance tickets and the Accounts inbox
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the wider finance team
Requirements
What you’ll need- An interest in finance or accounting, or a related degree, is helpful but not essential
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and currencies
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers at pace
- Good communication skills, able to work across a small, fast-moving team
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
- Nice to Have: Experience with Xero, Payhawk, and Joiin
