About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
- Draft and review legal documents, declarations, affidavits, recommendation letters, and correspondence related to immigration matters
- Communicate with clients in both Mandarin and English to gather information, provide case updates, and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain organized and accurate digital case files to ensure efficient case tracking and document management
- Manage and update CRM and case management systems, including platforms such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com
- Track filing deadlines, monitor case progress, and assist with scheduling and administrative coordination
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal support staff on case preparation, strategy, and workflow management
- Utilize legal technology and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, organization, and overall case management processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a legal field (required).
- Immigration law experience is highly preferred, but exceptional candidates with experience in other legal practice areas are encouraged to apply.
- Law degree preferred.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal (required).
- Experience with legal case management and CRM systems such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com is required.
- Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, performance goals, and quality standards in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance work product and efficiency is highly preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup (required).
