About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assisting the firm’s management in supervising a heavy & diversified practice
Providing strategic legal advice to the firm’s management
Identifying proactive solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks
Working directly with the Firm’s outside counsel
Reviewing & drafting agreements, legal memoranda, policies, etc.
Research relating to simple and complex legal, ethics, and regulatory issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be currently admitted to practice law in New York
Must be practicing law for a minimum of 5 years
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with members at all levels of the organization
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are a MUST
Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
Prior civil litigation experience is required
Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
