About the role
- Research, produce and deliver leading industry events predominantly in the US, Europe and Asia
- Identify market trends and write content-led agendas
- Secure high-calibre speakers and audiences for events
- Work with internal and external resources to create relevant content
- Write clear, concise and persuasive marketing copy for emails and websites
- Research and invite suitable speakers
- Collaborate with sponsorship team to secure sponsors for sessions
- Lead project brief meetings and work with internal teams to hit targets and grow events
- Manage multiple events concurrently, negotiating timelines and ensuring internal deadlines are met
- Work closely with in-house editorial teams to stay current on relevant sector news
- Run the content programme onsite at events and network with speakers and delegates
- Maintain professionalism and represent LBR internally and externally
Requirements
- Mandarin speaker
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excelllent phone and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and proofing abilities
- Clear, concise and persuasive writing style
- Stong time management skills and must be able to meet deadlines
- Good research and analytical skills
- A good business development acumen and commercially aware
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with speakers, sponsors and stakeholders
