About the role

  • Manage overall use, requests and issuance of PPE at the assigned business unit
  • Comply with and enforce Regulatory Standards (NRs)
  • Support leadership in all processes related to Occupational Safety and Environmental matters
  • Conduct elections for CIPATR and handle related matters
  • Keep the manager informed of work progress and address any questions
  • If necessary, inspect documentation of third-party companies and contractors
  • Request support from the more experienced safety technician when needed
  • Work in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide on-site support to the Environmental Analyst
  • Monitor renewals of Environmental Permits
  • Issue communications and conduct accident investigations
  • Record incidents and assessments in the Occupational Safety and Health (SST) system (SOC)
  • Perform Safety and Environmental inspections at all stores, silos and offices every two months
  • Manage document expirations at stores (PGR, LTCAT, LIP) and carry out environmental assessments (noise, dust, vibration)

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Occupational Safety with MTE registration
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Availability to travel
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Qualified to deliver NR20, NR33 and NR35 training
  • Knowledge of SAP
