Requirements

What you’ll need

3–8 years of experience in product engineering, shipping browser automation, web scraping, or AI agent tooling to external developers
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js (required)
Hands-on depth in Playwright, Puppeteer, browser-use, Stagehand, or Chromium internals
Track record of owning features end-to-end without a PM or designer
Demonstrated focus on developer experience, including API latency, response format, error messages, and documentation
Bias toward shipping in days and comfort making decisions with imperfect data
Able to work hybrid from the San Francisco Bay Area
Founding engineer, MTS, or infrastructure engineer experience at a DevTools or AI-agent startup is a bonus
Repeat founder or founder-CEO background with a shipped product and GitHub traction is a bonus
Hands-on understanding of AI agent tool selection and reliable prompt-based browser interaction is a bonus
Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers
