About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both
Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions and provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved
Provide various modalities of talk therapy alongside medication management as needed
Perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in New Jersey
Build a self-directed schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Active New Jersey Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
ANCC Board Certification
DEA Certification
2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
Strong assessment skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week
Must be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy
Must be available for Monday to Friday scheduling and weekend availability
