About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete Design and Drafting for Electrical and Control packages
Knowledge of control panel BOM, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and loop drawings for industrial projects
Design calculations including voltage drop and lighting levels
Check layouts and review overall presentation
Establish good working relationships and communicate with leads and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Diploma in Electrical Design or Electrical Engineering Technology
Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical and control design for oil & gas or similar process industries
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
Proven expertise using AutoCAD and 3D design / drafting
Experience with databases is beneficial
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Team player, able to work independently
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
