About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Accurately enter and manage Purchase Orders in Epicor for components and machines
Respond to customer inquiries from the Component Sales queue, emails, and Online Parts Store
Provide product, order status, and account support information
Handle RFQ submissions by identifying customer needs, providing pricing and lead times, and recommending products
Create and manage component RMAs and credit memo requests
Arrange shipment pickups for return orders
Review and prioritize urgent orders, including RED, BLUE, and AIR FREIGHT orders
Build and maintain customer relationships
Collaborate with Warehouse shipping and logistics, Purchasing, Accounting, Technical Care, and Warranty teams
Set up and maintain customer accounts in Epicor, including contact verification, UPS integration, and Avalara tax exemptions
Monitor and follow up on backorders, user holds, and credit holds
Manage and prioritize workflow through a ticketing system to meet departmental SLA requirements
Provide sales order reports, invoices, and order acknowledgements as requested
Communicate with customers, team members, and leadership
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Component Sales Supervisor
Perform other office duties as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Strong decision-making skills
Strong written, verbal, and active-listening communication skills
Experience using an ERP system is a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office
Bilingual is a plus
High School Diploma/GED required
College degree is a plus
2+ years of experience in order entry, customer service, inside sales, or similar roles
Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, team members, and leadership
