About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage new and existing customers for the commercial laundry industry.
- Expand sales opportunities within the commercial laundry space across the vended and OPL (On-Premise Laundry) segments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to finalize installations and provide customer training.
- Maintain, manage, and report on sales pipeline.
- Deliver all information and quotes to customers as required for all Sales Leads in the expected time frame.
- Participate as needed in industry trade shows and events to drive sales activity.
- Coordinate purchase orders, product shipments, and equipment installations to meet customer timelines and fulfill sales.
- Responsible for entering Chain equipment and ancillary orders into Epicor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 + years’ experience in prospecting: new business development, or direct sales.
- A background in equipment sales, construction, or machinery sales is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strategic thinker with expertise in prospecting: new business development, direct sales, account management, and strategic planning.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, CRM software with the ability to learn other software programs.
- Communication proficiency and strong presentation skills.
- Customer Focused - detail-oriented, well organized.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
- Unwavering ability to deliver the best possible experience to customers and prospects in your daily work activities.
