Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee end to end payroll processing, employee benefits administration and regulatory compliance
Resolve payroll/benefits issues promptly and provide guidance to employees
Manage vendor relations and maintain compliance with laws
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and tax requirements
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Coordinate company registrations for payroll tax withholding
Administer employee benefit programs
Lead annual open enrollment processes
Collaborate with auditors to complete annual 401(k) audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

7 + years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll functions, including payroll preparation, reconciliation, internal controls, and multi-state payroll tax compliance
Advanced proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems, with a strong preference for ADP Workforce Now
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive environments
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Exceptional attention to process improvement
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Commitment to delivering accurate work
