About the role

  • Develop and manage new and existing customer accounts for Electrolux, and Wascomat, branded laundry equipment within a defined sales territory.
  • Meet (and exceed) revenue, profit, and margin objectives.
  • Develop a thoughtful 3-year sales development plan, including a hiring plan for additional salespeople that would be developed and managed by you.
  • Provide data input to the company's budget process; implement, use, and promote CRM software as a sales management tool sell through the company's strategic marketing and brand-building initiatives.
  • Support professionalizing the company's business processes to successfully implement the business plan.
  • Plan, schedule in advance, and participate in trade shows and sales events in the territory.
  • Work closely with sales staff to facilitate financing approvals, lease negotiations, contractor coordination, and equipment logistics and ordering.
  • Utilize the company's ERP system as a sales management professional to manage sales activities and effective use of company resources.
  • Maintain key customer relationships, engage key stakeholders, develop, and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
  • Promote a high level of customer service by managing customers’ expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Recruit, interviews, hires, and trains new team members.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Manage the performance of the employees in the department (conducts 1:1’s, create goals, and conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive).

Requirements

  • Must have outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication/presentation skills as well as strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing data driven forecasts, analytics and KPI’s.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of CRM software and the ability to utilize daily.
  • Must have a high level of comfort in communicating with every level of an organization from top level executives to field personnel.
  • Must possess strong business acumen and professionalism.
  • Must be financially competent with respect to managing the teams’ budget.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large account sales/multiple channels of sales and business development teams.
  • 5 years in managing marketing teams, particularly in a B2B or distribution environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
