About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Staff Engagement Director plays a critical role in the Global Resource Team, championing the holistic well-being and development of our staff.
This leader is committed to empowering all Launch Global staff to flourish in both life and work, ultimately multiplying their Kingdom impact worldwide.
Focuses on bringing a Staff Engagement perspective to organizational leaders and peers throughout Launch Global.
Provides executive oversight to the Staff Engagement Team, ensuring they effectively provide care, coaching, MPD support, Sabbatical guidance, strengths and gifting assessments, and spiritual formation to all Launch Global staff.
Fosters a healthy organizational culture, ensuring that the SE team provides all staff with the support needed through life and ministry transitions.
Reports to the CEO and collaborates with other departments to jointly execute various and relevant objectives.
Responsible for all recruiting, hiring, shepherding, and leading for the Care Team Sr. Manager, Life and Leadership Coaching Sr. Manager, Staff Experience Sr. Manager, and the Leader Development Sr. Manager.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Undergraduate degree required
At least 5 years of ministry leadership experience required
Understand, affirm, and adhere to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith
Agree to uphold Launch Global’s Vision, Mission, and Values: Vision: The multiplication of healthy churches among unreached people groups. Mission: Launch Global exists to mobilize churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups.
Demonstrate Christ-likeness in accordance with biblical values.
Demonstrate all the character, Launch Global, and biblical values as stated in the Launch Global Staff Handbook
Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Participate in a child safety training program upon hire and other similar employment-related requirements.
Attend Launch Global conferences and retreats.
Maintain financial support.
