Senior Product Designer, Growth
LatticeSenior Product Designer joining Lattice's Traction Team to enhance core workflows and user engagement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions based on data-driven experiments.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join our Traction (Growth) Team to help more managers and employees get real value from Lattice’s core workflows.
- Focus on reducing friction, building habits, and helping people successfully complete everyday work, like prepping for 1:1s, giving feedback, or writing weekly updates.
- Make thoughtful tradeoffs to ensure we're always working on what matters most.
- Work with your cross-functional team to scope experiments, design quickly, and then drive iteration towards a final solution based on data.
- Ensure your solutions fit seamlessly into our existing design system and product surfaces.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 5+ years experience working on a product growth team: forming customer-centric hypotheses, A/B testing, shipping iteratively, and partnering with Data Science to evaluate test results.
- Experience collaborating with designers across multiple teams to ensure your solutions fit seamlessly into their product surfaces.
- Experience deeply understanding customers and their needs, working closely with User Research and Data to collect and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative inputs, and incorporate those into your work.
- Experience evaluating and designing complex workflows, in particular flows that move across or have impact on multiple products within a suite.
- A strong understanding of visual design principles (as evident in your work), in particular with regard to spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usage of color to communicate states and numeric values.
- Proven success working with an established design system, by reusing existing components but you also have experience building net new components and layouts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for succinctly articulating customer challenges and design decisions.
- A reliable and proactive partner for product and engineering: you think at a high-level about your team’s focus area and collaborate closely with your PM and Engineering partners to define the future of what your team owns.
- A love for design feedback - both receiving and giving. You are someone who consistently shares your work with other designers and your cross-functional team, and who regularly engages with other designers’ work.
- A builder mindset: you’re comfortable prototyping, working in coding tools, and using modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, coding agents) to accelerate how you work.
- An interest in applying AI tooling to your design process to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and depth of thinking.
