About the role

  • Help craft the future of the Lattice Platform, focusing on Core UI (navigation, homepages, mobile app strategy, design system)
  • Dig into systems, shape them for scale, and elevate overlooked experiences
  • Evolve the platform’s foundation and drive cross-product cohesion and platform direction
  • Partner closely with Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to influence roadmaps and product strategy
  • Serve as a trusted voice and advocate for craft across multiple areas of the design team
  • Lead adoption of design changes across products and maintain a high quality bar for execution
  • Provide stewardship, mentorship, and feedback to elevate team design quality
  • Ensure designs are implemented with rigor and consistency, providing direction to engineers when necessary

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in designing complex, cross-product workflows
  • Expert-level understanding of visual and interaction design, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, grids, and responsive layouts
  • Proven experience designing for responsive systems at scale
  • Trusted partner across multiple product areas; able to collaborate with Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers
  • Strong systems thinking and design system expertise; comfortable evolving and creating new patterns
  • Proven experience shaping design direction at scale and leading adoption of changes across products or teams
  • High-quality execution and stewardship; provides direction to other designers and engineers
  • A champion of feedback culture; mentors teammates and shares iterative design work
  • (Bonus) Experience contributing to or leading horizontal product teams and/or design systems initiatives
  • (Bonus) Experience influencing platform-wide strategy in a B2B SaaS environment
  • (Bonus) Formal training or deep craft expertise in typography, systems design, or interaction principles
  • (Bonus) Proficiency in front-end development (HTML/CSS/React)
