About the role

  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue accounting
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage SaaS-specific accounting areas including revenue recognition (ASC 606), deferred revenue, subscriptions, usage-based billing, and customer contracts
  • Own and maintain NetSuite, including system configuration, reporting, integrations, and process improvements
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and scalability
  • Partner with FP&A, Sales Ops, and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and reporting
  • Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements; serve as primary contact for external auditors
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC)
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the organization scales
  • Assist with system implementations, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Deep SaaS industry experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Hands-on expertise with NetSuite
  • Understanding of US GAAP compliance
