About the role
- Serve as a senior technical resource for clients, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex IT issues
- Deliver onsite and remote IT consulting services across multiple client environments
- Assess client infrastructure and recommend improvements related to performance, security, scalability, and cost optimization
- Design, implement, and support IT solutions including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security tools
- Lead and support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, cloud transitions, and security initiatives
- Work closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Act as an escalation point for Tier 2/3 support issues within an MSP environment
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, documentation standards, and best practices
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and client configurations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians when needed
- Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry best practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive IT support experience in an MSP environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in infrastructure guidance and technology solutions
- Ability to deliver onsite and remote IT consulting services
- Strong design and implementation skills for IT solutions
- Knowledge in system upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives
- Ability to assess and recommend improvements to client infrastructure
- Mentorship capabilities for junior technicians
- Awareness of emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends
