About the role

  • Ligation Paralegal
  • Location: Hybrid / Pikesville
  • Salary: 60k-80k
  • Main Focus-
  • - Hybrid work
  • - 3 days onsite per week during initial training
  • - 2 days onsite per week after initial training
  • - 5+ years of Civil Litigation experience
  • - They focus primarily on Medical Malpractice and Sexual Abuse cases. Need someone with that type of personal injury experience.
  • - Prefer someone with multi-state experience
  • - Need plaintiff side experience
  • - Experience preparing and filing lawsuits
  • - Minimum of 5 years litigation experience in personal injury, preferably medical malpractice. Responsibilities and skills should include, but not be limited to: Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimum supervision; detail oriented, excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and be pro-active in managing case load; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of e-filing for both federal and state courts; calendar, track and manage court and client deadlines; schedule and prepare attorney for case-related meetings, depositions and hearings; drafting pleadings, motions and all documents, including discovery documents; trial preparation and trial support. Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of File Vine or similar case management program helpful.
