About the role
- Assist in handling a variety of legal matters, including litigation, contracts, and transactional work.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed.
- Advise and communicate with clients on case status, legal strategy, and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and manage case files.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures, deadlines, and ethical standards.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience practicing law
- Strong background in legal research
- Experience in drafting and client representation
- Must be barred in North Carolina
