Account Manager – Mandarin, English, Spanish

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for China-based clients, managing day-to-day communication and long-term relationship growth
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations including ocean freight, drayage, and warehousing services
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment execution, troubleshooting issues and providing proactive updates to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customs, warehouse, carriers) to ensure service excellence
- Monitor shipment milestones, KPIs, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Identify opportunities to upsell or expand services within existing accounts
- Resolve escalations efficiently while maintaining strong client trust
- Maintain detailed records in CRM and internal systems
- Provide regular reporting on account performance, volumes, and client feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish (written and spoken) – mandatory
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, specifically in ocean freight, drayage, and/or warehousing
- Proven experience managing international client accounts, preferably with China-based customers
- Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, incoterms, and shipping documentation
- Experience working with freight forwarders, NVOCCs, or 3PL providers is highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM systems and logistics software platforms
