About the role
- Applying engineering and chemistry techniques to improve quality and manufacturing processes
- Assist in the transition of new products and processes from R&D to production
- Assist in equipment and processes design to promote safety, quality, and reliability
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs
- Execute Design of Experiments for Pilot Plant Scale-Up and Production Scale-Up
- Analyze data for improvement opportunities
- Coordinate QA efforts with R&D
- Operate and ensure pilot plant machines/production equipment are prepared for operation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 0 – 4 years’ experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized in scheduling, executing responsibilities and prioritizing in a multitask environment
- Team player
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Mini-Tab or other similar software
- Up to 50% travel (domestic and international)
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport
- Lift 50 pounds
- Push/pull 25 pounds
- Stand 50-75% of the day
- Sit 25-50% of the day
- Twist/bend 50-75% of the day
- Squat/climb/crawl 20% of the day
