About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting Billing leadership in all aspects of the billing process
- Processing Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) write-offs as appropriate
- Applying Billed On Account balances as requested
- Processing time/costs transfers and narrative edits to timecards as required
- Liaising with Billing Coordinators to ensure all invoices are generated and queries are responded to in a timely manner
- Managing shared mailbox to ensure that all queries and requests are addressed in a punctual manner
- Assisting with data input into financial systems
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
- Prior work experience in a professional services environment, preferably
- Experience using financial systems, preferably
- Strong technology skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
