About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partnering with Conflicts, New Business Intake, Billing, and FIC teams to thoroughly understand and advise on the implications of Credit on their processes and financial reporting for partners
- Analyzing and interrogating data, including financials, to drive efficiency and process improvement within the team
- Building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with lawyers and business services professionals at all levels to support and advise on Credit
- Managing a portfolio of offices to ensure all partner credit needs are met through a structured, proactive approach that balances an otherwise fluctuating workload throughout the year
- Representing the Credit team in cross-functional meetings to provide updates and answer questions
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or statistics
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in related research and analysis areas
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative professional experience
