About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responding to all HR Services requests, prioritizing requests accordingly, escalating more complex queries as appropriate, and redirecting cases to appropriate verticals as needed
- Monitoring and recording employee data and information within HR systems, including new hire entries, leaves of absence, transfers, secondments, and terminations
- Preparing standard contracts of employment and HR documentation, including employment verification letters, transfer letters, and title change memos, and cross-referencing and recording data from internal systems into the HRIS in a timely manner
- Partnering with appropriate HR colleagues to collate and record payroll information within required timeframes
- Maintaining and developing strong working relationships with stakeholders and relevant global departments
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
What you’ll need- Possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions
- Demonstrate HRIS experience, preferably PeopleSoft
- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; A minimum of two (2) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably
