About the role

  • Responsible for recruitment and hiring of associate-level positions at Latham & Watkins
  • Act as a liaison between local and global management committees and collaborate with Associate Recruiting and Legal Talent leadership
  • Support the applicant process: prepare correspondence with recruits, maintain filing systems and databases, process applicant materials for review, coordinate interview schedules
  • Organize and represent the firm at recruiting events and external functions, including the firm’s Summer Program and recruitment initiatives
  • Provide support for associate morale and retention, assist with associate reintegration post-leave, serve as point of contact for attorney orientation and integration
  • Collaborate on research projects and reporting; contribute to development of PowerPoint presentations and materials for internal sharing, presentations, and training
  • Handle administrative tasks: gather agenda items, document meetings, manage expenses and reimbursements, maintain team Intranet page, monitor office calendar to prevent conflicts
  • Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that the firm retains

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Previous professional experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Experience with interview platforms
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong analytical skills with minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines
