Responsible for recruitment and hiring of associate-level positions at Latham & Watkins
Act as a liaison between local and global management committees and collaborate with Associate Recruiting and Legal Talent leadership
Support the applicant process: prepare correspondence with recruits, maintain filing systems and databases, process applicant materials for review, coordinate interview schedules
Organize and represent the firm at recruiting events and external functions, including the firm’s Summer Program and recruitment initiatives
Provide support for associate morale and retention, assist with associate reintegration post-leave, serve as point of contact for attorney orientation and integration
Collaborate on research projects and reporting; contribute to development of PowerPoint presentations and materials for internal sharing, presentations, and training
Handle administrative tasks: gather agenda items, document meetings, manage expenses and reimbursements, maintain team Intranet page, monitor office calendar to prevent conflicts
Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that the firm retains
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Previous professional experience (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office
Experience with applicant tracking systems
Experience with interview platforms
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Strong analytical skills with minimal supervision
Organizational skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines
