💰 $155,000 - $180,000 per year
About the role
- Manage the department’s current awareness and lead monitoring efforts in the relevant region
- Create bespoke monitoring products leveraging multiple tools, technologies, and information sources responsive to attorney and business services needs
- Train Research Services staff to develop monitoring products that reduce human curation by crafting creative search parameters
- Develop and implement standards and best practices for delivery of current awareness and monitoring
- Manage aggregation platforms such as Vable and LN Newsdesk; work with vendors to troubleshoot issues and maintain data integrity
- Work with Technology & Information Services to develop internal solutions (e.g., current awareness dashboard) and enable self-subscription
- Collaborate with Litigation Services and other business services to streamline processes and satisfy attorney and business services needs
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information retained by the firm
Requirements
- Possess advanced legal and non-legal research knowledge and skills
- Demonstrate ability to develop and lead effective training for departmental colleagues and other business services staff
- Superior communication skills; ability to work as a team player and interact with diplomacy and tact
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A master’s degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (preferably)
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
