About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overseeing the team’s shared pricing request intake process and ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery across all requests
  • Providing ongoing technical and leadership development to team members to strengthen analytical capabilities, communication skills, and business judgment
  • Leading pricing discussions directly with partners and attorneys, providing strategic guidance and recommendations related to fee structures, profitability considerations, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning
  • Supporting the development of budgets, fee estimates, profitability models, and matter economics analyses
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Business Development, Practice Management, Legal Project Management, and other business services teams to enhance service delivery
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or related field
  • An advanced degree, preferably
  • A minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience in finance or related professional services environment
  • A minimum of five years of cumulative professional experience
  • Possess well-developed knowledge of market research resources, financial reporting and modeling, and project management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Display excellent analytical skills needed for all primary duties of position, including comprehending and communicating data, and performing detailed analyses independently
