About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing and developing recommended solutions to financial application and reporting issues
- Coding, testing, and debugging financial application systems and reporting solutions according to specifications
- Producing prototypes during various stages of development as required
- Assisting with the testing, documentation, and maintenance of financial applications and financial reporting
- Maintaining financial applications and reporting solutions after implementation including user support and software upgrades
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or related field
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with financial systems and applications development
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the development of financial applications in web, client server, and n-tiered environments using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, bootstrap, Ajax, and JQuery, preferably
- Strong experience using relational databases (e.g., SQL), preferably
- Experience with data modeling, customization and data conversion, preferably
- Experience with Elite or 3E Billing and Financial Management System, preferably
- Experience with 3E IDE, preferably
