About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of practice, industry, and market expertise, client mix, matter experience, trade groups, and media; employing knowledge to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans, acting as a “dot connector” internally
  • Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
  • Building and driving the marketing strategy for the industry group with a focus on measurable impact
  • Achieving fluency in our client base and supporting efforts to identify, pursue, and attain new business from new and existing clients
  • Working collaboratively across teams on strategic projects
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Business Development environment
  • A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
