About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing the end-to-end processing of applications and serving as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Preparing, analyzing, and presenting marketing materials and reports for stakeholders, while representing the firm at recruiting events
- Managing relationships with search firms and external vendors, and supervising coordinators, assistants, and interns to support hiring efforts
- Developing and managing recruitment budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices
- Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect to co-workers
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in legal recruitment or professional services
- Exhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels and lead teams, with a customer-service focus
- Possess advanced organizational and analytical skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines, and supervise others to ensure compliance and accuracy, while using independent judgment for decision-making
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, interview platforms, and other necessary software, with the ability to undertake large projects, develop alternative methods, and implement solutions
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
