About the role

  • Providing financial and strategic analysis to the leaders of the firm's industry groups
  • Working with colleagues in Financial Insights & Consulting (FIC) and key stakeholders across the firm to develop Power BI dashboards
  • Identifying current performance and trends, comparing them to past and future goals, and working with cohort members to develop strategic business plans
  • Developing Power BI data visualizations
  • Managing, leading, and implementing various finance-related projects
  • Evaluating and analyzing strategic initiatives by initiating and directing research on competition, markets, geographies, and areas of law
  • Developing financial models and reporting to identify trends and issues, and formulating recommendations and strategies for improving performance

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field, preferably a MBA
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of analytical experience in finance or a related professional services environment
  • A minimum of two (2) years of leading projects and other initiatives
  • Possess knowledge of various information technology systems, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Objects
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of market research resources and financial reporting
  • Demonstrate excellent financial modelling skills and project management skills
