Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborating with the Office of the General Counsel, AI Governance, Security and Risk Management and Audit and Advisory departments
Reviewing proposed projects involving the collection or utilisation of personal data
Advising on privacy risks and compliance with local data privacy laws
Carrying out privacy impact assessments
Responding to requests from individuals to exercise their rights under applicable data privacy laws
Managing and updating records of processing activities
Assisting with data mapping and vendor management reviews
Helping the firm comply with AI legal obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional admission as a solicitor in England and Wales
Experience in advising on EU data privacy laws, preferably
Experience of contract drafting and negotiation, preferably
