About the role
- Collaborating with the Office of the General Counsel, AI Governance, Security and Risk Management and Audit and Advisory departments
- Reviewing proposed projects involving the collection or utilisation of personal data
- Advising on privacy risks and compliance with local data privacy laws
- Carrying out privacy impact assessments
- Responding to requests from individuals to exercise their rights under applicable data privacy laws
- Managing and updating records of processing activities
- Assisting with data mapping and vendor management reviews
- Helping the firm comply with AI legal obligations
Requirements
- Professional admission as a solicitor in England and Wales
- Experience in advising on EU data privacy laws, preferably
- Experience of contract drafting and negotiation, preferably
