About the role
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics to support firm goals.
- Perform profitability scenario analyses to support pricing decisions for firm management.
- Collaborate on new engagement opportunities by creating competitive and innovative fee proposals that meet strategic and financial goals.
- Maintain the litigation investment database by inputting key approval information, creating analyses, and designing reports/presentations to display pricing trends.
- Make recommendations and work with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency in the litigation investment portfolio.
- Develop recurring reports related to client fee monitoring.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains.
Requirements
- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
- Possess the ability to work independently to research, analyze, and develop financial information.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of one (1) year of related analytical experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience responding to ad-hoc requests, performing analyses, and producing reports, preferably.
